There and Back

August has been so busy and so much fun!  Here is what we've been up to:

10 Months Old

HI everyone!  I am officially 10 months old...in 2 months I'll be one, I can't wait for my party-my Mommy and Daddy said I can eat cake!  At my 9 month check up I weighed 18 pounds and was 26 inches long.  That means Mommy and Daddy will be buying a "big girl" car seat any day now.  Other than that, I took my first official steps!  I haven't walked since but Daddy and Mommy keep trying to get me to.  I can walk, I just choose not to to mess with Daddy and Mommy ; ).

Other than that,I've been enjoying the last bits of summer and had a fun maritime photo shoot recently with Mommy (see below).  This weekend I'm looking forward to spending a long weekend with Grandma and Grandpa while Mommy and Daddy act "like they are young again" in Cedarville with their friends.  After that, in a few weeks, I have to have surgery to help clear my tear ducts that haven't opened.  The doctor promised I would be in and out of my Mommy and Daddy's arms in 30 minutes so as nervous as I am, I know it will be quick and easy!

Well that is what is new with me!  Now I'm off to terrorize Aspen some more....

9 Months Old

Elyse is 9 months old and she is getting so big!  She is crawling, standing up, chasing Aspen, eating on her own, saying "Mama and Dada," and trying to walk. 

Recently, we had many family come to visit to celebrate her Baptism at Central United Methodist Church.  It was a great weekend of spending time at the beach, boating, have a BBQ, and celebrating Elyse!

Updates Galore

Summer is finally here and we have been super busy!  Elsye had her first overnight at the grandparents, we finished the half marathon in 2.20 hours, Ben and I celebrated our 6 year wedding annivesary, and Elyse officially started crawling and standing!

8 months Old

We are so happy it is finally summer and Elyse loves the warm weather.  She will be 8 months old in just a few days and doing so much cool new stuff.  She is almost crawling, standing up on her own, drinking from a sippy cup, and staying overnight at Grandma and Grandpa's by herself.

Pittsburgh Visit

In April, just after Elyse turned 6 months old we flew out to Pittsburgh to visit my family!  Elyse got to meet all of her relatives for the first time, watched Rachel in her pretty bridal gown, and got spoiled!
