New Stuff

New stuff going on in the Belyea Household:

Elyse loves to play dress up in all of her clothes but she is almost too big for 12 months already!

Elyse is walking!  Everywhere, anywhere, as fast as she can!

And our backyard is a mess because the garage is about to be started!  Elyse is very curious to know what is going on that she stood at the back door all night.

31st Birthday

I recently celebrated my 31st birthday and since last year on my 30th I was super pregnant, Ben threw me a surprise birthday party with all of our friends.  It was a great celebration and I am so blessed!

But before the party we did have a quick chance to take some family photos!

11 Months Old (Almost!)

Summer is winding down and Elyse is almost 11 months old, we can't believe it!  It has gone by way too fast.  But we are looking forward to fall.  Football games, Elyse's 1st Birthday celebration, visiting Colorado, and more!  Here is what we've been up to lately!

Nonni came to visit and Elyse loved snuggling and reading books...boy, was she spoiled!

Surgery Successful!

Here is our precious baby right before her eyes surgery.  Elyse did amazing and it was so quick and easy!  We were home and snuggling by 9am and we can already notice improvement in her tear ducts.

There and Back

August has been so busy and so much fun!  Here is what we've been up to:

10 Months Old

HI everyone!  I am officially 10 months old...in 2 months I'll be one, I can't wait for my party-my Mommy and Daddy said I can eat cake!  At my 9 month check up I weighed 18 pounds and was 26 inches long.  That means Mommy and Daddy will be buying a "big girl" car seat any day now.  Other than that, I took my first official steps!  I haven't walked since but Daddy and Mommy keep trying to get me to.  I can walk, I just choose not to to mess with Daddy and Mommy ; ).

Other than that,I've been enjoying the last bits of summer and had a fun maritime photo shoot recently with Mommy (see below).  This weekend I'm looking forward to spending a long weekend with Grandma and Grandpa while Mommy and Daddy act "like they are young again" in Cedarville with their friends.  After that, in a few weeks, I have to have surgery to help clear my tear ducts that haven't opened.  The doctor promised I would be in and out of my Mommy and Daddy's arms in 30 minutes so as nervous as I am, I know it will be quick and easy!

Well that is what is new with me!  Now I'm off to terrorize Aspen some more....

9 Months Old

Elyse is 9 months old and she is getting so big!  She is crawling, standing up, chasing Aspen, eating on her own, saying "Mama and Dada," and trying to walk. 

Recently, we had many family come to visit to celebrate her Baptism at Central United Methodist Church.  It was a great weekend of spending time at the beach, boating, have a BBQ, and celebrating Elyse!
